NEW DELHI - Dry warm weather will continue in the Indian capital Friday with temperatures likely to soar five degrees above normal, the weather department said Thursday.

The maximum temperature will hover around 31.9 degree Celsius and the minimum at 17 degree celsius, it said.

The minimum temperature Thursday morning was 18.1 degrees Celsius, which was five degrees above average. The rise in temperature is mainly because of partly cloudy skies, the India Meteorological Department said.
