Panther dies of old age

BHOPAL - An 18-year-old female panther, Rakhi, who had stopped eating four days ago, died at the Van Vihar sanctuary here Wednesday, park authorities said Thursday.
The officials cited senility as the reason for the death of the animal, who was rescued from Burhanpur as an abandoned cub and brought to the Van Vihar in April 1993.
