Light showers in Delhi, more expected

NEW DELHI - The capital witnessed a partly cloudy sky Tuesday, with light showers in some parts. More showers are expected Wednesday, the weather office said.

There may be a light drizzle and thundery development in parts of the city tomorrow (Wednesday). The skies will remain cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 28 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

However, the minimum temperature Tuesday was seven degrees above average, at 18.8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was two notches below average, at 26.1 degrees Celsius, the official added.

The humidity levels oscillated between a high of 96 percent and a low of 54 percent, the official added.
