NEW DELHI - It was a cloudy and chilly morning in the national capital Monday with the weather office predicting thundershowers as the day progressed.

Delhi recorded a minimum of 13.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal for this time of the season.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said a depression over the Arabian Sea is likely to bring rains to the capital.

“Skies will remain cloudy with possibility of rains or thundershowers. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 25 degrees Celsius,” said an IMD official.

Humidity was recorded at 87 percent.
