NEW DELHI - An overcast sky and light drizzle greeted Delhiites Wednesday morning. The met office has predicted more showers as the day progresses.

“The skies will remain cloudy. Some parts of the city may witness showers later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

The minimum temperature, however, was recorded at 15.7 degrees - six notches above average. It has been on the higher side for the last couple of days.

“The cloud cover is causing the high minimum temperatures,” the official said.

The maximum and minimum humidity was recorded at 88 and 26 percent respectively, the official added.
