Cool morning in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Shallow fog gave way to a cool morning in the national capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling two notches above average at 11.6 degrees Celsius.

“The morning witnessed shallow fog and the day ahead would see a partly cloudy sky. The maximum temperature would hover around 27 degrees Celsius,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Humidity was recorded at 71 percent, he added.

According to the IMD, the mercury is expected to rise gradually in the coming days and the skies are expected to remain clear.
