Rain likely in Delhi Tuesday

NEW DELHI - The weather in the national capital Monday remained cloudy with the day temperature showing a drop, said an official of the India Meteorological Department. Rain is likely Tuesday, he said.

The minimum temperature in the city was five notches above average at 14.7 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 22.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below what is the average for this time of the season.

The humidity level oscillated between 66-81 percent.

“The skies will remain cloudy Tuesday with possibility of rain or thundershowers. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to settle around 14 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively,” said the official.

Delhi Sunday experienced a warm day with the maximum temperature settling at 28.8 degrees Celsius, six notches above average.
