Sunny, cold morning in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhi woke up to a sunny but cold morning Friday with the minimum temperature dipping to 9.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average for this time of the season.

“The skies would be mainly clear. It is expected to be slightly chilly in the morning and towards the evening,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

“The maximum and the minimum temperature are expected to stay around 22 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively,” the official added.

The maximum temperature recorded Thursday was 21.3 degrees Celsius.

Humidity was at 90 percent.
