Misty, cold morning in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhi woke up to a cold and misty morning Wednesday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 12.1 degrees Celsius - a notch below the average for the season.

“The morning saw shallow fog followed by a sunny day. Evening is expected to be partly cloudy,” an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to stay around 24 and 12 degrees Celsius,” the official said.

The maximum temperature recorded Tuesday was 22.2 degrees, two notches below the average maximum temperature for the season.

Humidity recorded was 96 percent.
