God Didnot Create Universe: Hawking

Do you believe that God is the creator of Universe? The world’s most renowned scientists and physicist Stephen Hawking has stated in his new book that God is not the reason behind the existence of the Universe.
In his upcoming book, ‘The Grand Design‘ he said that
Because there is a law such as gravity, the Universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there’s something rather than nothing, why the Universe exists, why we exist.
He also added that
It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the Universe going.
In his previous book ‘A Brief History of Time‘ this eminent scientists had explained the existence of a divine force i.e. God in the creation of the world. But in his new book he has rejected all his old propositions and he rejected Sir Issac Newton’s theory that the Universe was set in motion by God.
Stephen Hawking has been suffering from neuro muscular dystrophy since his early 20s but his disease could not prevent his establishment to become one of the world’s leading scientific authorities. He retired last year from the position of Lucasian Professor of Mathematics in Cambridge University, a post which was previously held by Newton.
The Grand Design is set to publish on September 9 and it is co-written by American physicist Leonard Miodinow.
