Yellowstone seeking snowcoach operator

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — Yellowstone National Park is looking for someone interested in providing guided winter snowcoach tours originating from the park’s East Entrance in Wyoming.

Under the current temporary winter use plan, two commercially guided snowcoach tours a day may originate from the East Entrance from Dec. 22 through March 1, weather conditions permitting.

The National Park Service has released a prospectus explaining the details of the business opportunity as well as the terms and conditions under which a contract would be awarded.

The contract would end April 1, 2013.
