Hot, sunny day in Delhi

NEW DELHI - It was another hot day in the national capital Wednesday with the maximum temperature hovering at 33.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above average. The weather office predicted clear sky Thursday.

According to an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature was 22.7 degrees Celsius, four notches above average for this point of the season.

The maximum humidity was 80 percent while the minimum was 31 percent.

The official said the maximum temperature in Delhi Thursday is expected to settle at 33 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be around 22 degrees.
