Warm day, clear skies in Delhi

NEW DELHI - It was a warm start to the week for Delhi Monday as schools and colleges reopened following a 14-day break after the Commonwealth Games. Clear skies are expected Tuesday as well.

“The maximum temperature recorded today was an average 32.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 23.5 degrees,” an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

“It will be clear skies with more or less same temperatures tomorrow (Tuesday),” the official added.

The humidity was recorded at 62 percent. The weather office predicted light showers over the weekend.
