NEW DELHI - Delhi woke up to a misty Saturday morning, but the mist soon gave way to a bright day. The weather department, however, forecast cloudy skies during the later part of the day.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature recorded Saturday was a notch above the average at 16 degrees Celsius.

“The maximum temperature is expected to touch 30 degrees Celsius. You can also expect the skies to turn cloudy during the later part of the day,” an official said.

On Friday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were 16 and 29.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
