LONDON - More than 10 percent of Britons have admitted to having sex with someone they had met on the social networking site Facebook, a poll has revealed.

A survey of 2,000 people for TV show “Sex Rehab” showed that nearly half of the respondents have sent naughty messages or phone texts to someone other than their partner, The Sun reported Monday.

While 46 percent of the respondents admitted exchanging explicit secret messages, a third watched porn online.

The Big Sex Survey revealed that the average Briton has sex 6,552 times in their life, with the average session lasting about 20 minutes.

It showed that many have had sex in public places, with a third going for it in shopping centres, toilets or outdoors.

Half of those who took the survey said that they had used sex toys and three percent of men said they had a sex doll.
