Bright, nippy morning in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhiites woke up to a sunny yet nippy morning Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 3.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal.

There was some fog before sunrise but it did not affect flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, an official said.

“There was shallow fog early morning but the skies will remain clear and bright. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 20 degrees Celsius,” a met department official said.

Humidity was recorded at 97 percent, the official added.
