NEW DELHI - The capital saw light rainfall Sunday morning that raised the minimum temperature to 6.5 degrees Celsius, a degree above from Saturday’s temperature, a met official said.

“The sky is likely to remain cloudy during the day. Light rainfall is expected in some parts towards the evening,” a met department official said.

The city recorded 0.5 mm of rain. “The rainfall will help clear the weather and bring down the chill.”

“The maximum and the minimum temperature will be around 22 and seven degrees Celsius, respectively,” the official added.

The maximum temperature recorded Saturday was 23.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for the season.

Humidity was recorded at 93 percent.
