Pleasant day in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhiites witnessed a pleasant day Thursday as the maximum temperature was average for this time of the year and a light breeze blew in the evening. The met office has predicted similar weather conditions for Friday.
The maximum temperature was 23.5 degrees while the minimum was a notch below average at 9.5 degrees Celsius, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
“The humidity levels were high as the maximum was 92 percent and the minimum settled at 38 percent,” the official added.
According to IMD, Friday will witness light mist in the morning but the skies will remain clear during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 24 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.
