THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - You can now share your files, transfer pictures, music, videos and documents instantly using Tranz, a latest technology developed by young IT entrepreneurs at Innoz Technologies Pvt. Ltd here.
The service is free within the country.
Speaking to IANS, Deepak Ravindran, the CEO of Technopark-headquartered Innoz, said that Tranz is a file-sharing and networking application that enriches your mobile internet experience.
“Till now if you had to send a picture from your mobile you had to first connect the mobile with the computer and then email or transfer the picture to someone standing near you using a blue tooth. But with Tranz, there are no such hassles,” said Ravindran.
“Using Tranz you can stay connected with all those on your phonebook. Tranz lets you share any kind of files on your mobile. Shout about what you are doing and share your thoughts with your friends and send unlimited messages,” said Ravindran.
The senders and the receivers are only required to have a java-enabled GPRS/3G mobile and can then download for free the software Tranz from https://www.gotranz.com.
“It was only recently that we launched this service within the country and very soon it can be used outside the country as well,” he said.
It was in November 2008 that Ravindran and three others, while still students at an engineering college in the state, launched an innovative text messaging interface for any definition by sending an SMS from their mobile phones.
Their company Innoz Technologies Pvt Ltd is the first offsite incubated company in the country, besides being the first virtual incubated company in the Technopark here.
Ravindran won the “Star Entrepreneur” award last week for Making Innovation Work in today’s time at the 3rd Indira International Summit held in Mumbai.
