NEW DELHI - Delhi woke up Tuesday to a nippy morning with a slight dip in the minimum temperature.

“The minimum temperature recorded early Tuesday was 14.5 degrees Celsius. The morning has been chilly because of a western disturbance over Afghanistan,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The minimum temperature over the past few days has been at least three-four degrees above average.

“As the day advances, it will get warm. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 28 degrees Celsius,” the official added.
