Russian spaceship docks with ISS

MOSCOW - Russian cargo spaceship Progress M-07M successfully docked Sunday with the International Space Station (ISS), the mission control centre said.

The spacecraft docked with the Zvezda service module at the ISS at 3.58 p.m. Moscow time (1158 GMT), Valery Lyndin, spokesman for the mission control, was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

Progress M-07M would deliver over 2.5 tonnes of supplies include fuel, media and fire equipment, oxygen, water, clothes, fruits, vegetables, dessert, nuts and fish cans to the crew members.

The current crew includes Russian cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov, Mikhail Kornienko and Fyodor Yurchikhin, and NASA astronauts Tracy Caldwell Dyson, Shannon Walker and Douglas Wheelock.
