No rain forecast for Delhi Wednesday

NEW DELHI - The mercury will remain on the higher side in the national capital Wednesday with little or no chance of rain, the weather office said.

“The sky will be partly cloudy with possibility of thunder towards the evening and night. There are little or no chances of rains,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The minimum temperature was 29 degrees Celsius, two notches above average. The maximum temperature will be two degrees above normal at 37 degrees Celsius.

Humidity is expected to remain high. It was recorded at 72 percent in the morning.

On Tuesday, humidity touched 100 percent for the first time in the season.
