2,500 women audition on Facebook to be in musician’s video

LONDON - An unknown musician looking for beautiful women to appear in the video for his debut single has been besieged by 2500 of them on Facebook after he set up a group on the networking site.
Jonathan Haselden, 28, who was looking for women to appear in the promo for pop song ‘Miss Pretty’, was overwhelmed with the huge number of women auditioning for the part.
Girls across the globe, including America, Spain, Russia and Australia, posted videos of themselves dancing, and while some vamped it up in glam photos, others appeared in just their undies.
“I can’t believe the response. I thought we might get half a dozen. It’s a bit overwhelming,” the Sun quoted event salesman Haselden, of Wimbledon, South West London, as saying.
The site’s popularity persuaded pop video director Don McVey to make it for free.
Haselden is now picking his favourite 100 girls to join the London shoot, and he already has his first 20, with one jetting in from Malta and another from Spain.
“I’ve been really touched by all the effort,” the singer, who got girl pals to promote the Facebook group, said.
‘Miss Pretty’ will be released online next month. (ANI)
