Rains expected in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhiites will witness another humid day Tuesday but rains are expected in the later part of the day, the weatherman said.

“The humidity level is between 74 percennt and 95 percent. Rains are expected in the afternoon in some parts of the capital but humidity levels will continue to remain high,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to the official, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.

The minimum temperature was a notch above average at 27.4 degrees Celsius Monday.

The capital has received 3.4 mm of rainfall between Monday 8.30 p.m. to Tuesday 8.30 a.m., taking the total this season to 458.9 mm.
