BEIJING - China has launched a global campaign to select six “pambassadors” - people who would have the privilege of spending a whole month looking after and learning more about the endangered pandas.
The selected six individuals for the “Project Panda” will be required to spend an entire month in the Chengdu Panda Base in Chengdu city in Sichuan Province, Global Times reported.
The project, supported by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), aims to offer the six people a chance to see the birth of several panda cubs due in October.
The panda keepers will also blog about their entire experience during their stay at the reserve.
