Light rains in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Parts of Delhi witnessed light rains Thursday evening. There is also a possibility of some showers Friday, weather officials said.
Some downpour was reported in some areas of central and south Delhi, the officials said.
According to the Met office, the maximum temperature in the city settled at 32.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average for this point of the season, while the minimum temperature hovered around 25.2 degrees Celsius.
The humidity levels also oscillated between a high of 93 percent and a low of 63 percent.
An India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said that the maximum temperature Friday is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius and minimum will hover around 24 degrees Celsius.
Delhi has recorded a total rainfall of 889 mm this season, around 86 percent above average.
