Respite from rains may continue Saturday

NEW DELHI - After days of incessant downpour, the skies parted to provide much needed warmth to Delhiites. No rainfall was recorded in the capital Friday.
Except for a few pauses, Delhi received continuous rainfall for five days Sep 19-23.
Meanwhile, the humidity levels Friday fluctuated between a high of 98 percent and low of 58 percent. The maximum temperature was 32.4 degree Celsius while the minimum was 23.2 degrees.
Forecasting Saturday’s weather, an official of the India Meteorological Department official said the maximum temperature will be around 34 degree Celsius and the minimum at 24 degree.
Delhi had a prolonged monsoon this season with the total rainfall recorded at 1,031.5 mm - 55 percent above average.
