Misty morning, sunny day ahead

NEW DELHI - The national capital saw mild mist Friday morning but the weather office said the day ahead would be sunny.

“There was shallow fog or mist in the morning but the day will remain sunny,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

He added that there would not be much drop in temperature.

“The temperature will be close to average with the minimum temperature likely to be around 17 degrees Celsius, four notches above the average,” the official said.

The maximum temperature is likely to be around 29 degrees Celsius, which is the average for this time of the season.
