Warm day in Delhi, rains expected Saturday

NEW DELHI - The chilly morning paved way for a warm day in the capital Friday as the maximum temperature was recorded above average. However, the met department has predicted rains Saturday.
There will be mist in the morning and thundery developments may occur towards the afternoon or evening (Saturday). The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 28 and 18 degrees Celsius, said an official of the India Meteorological department (IMD).
Meanwhile, Friday was a clear and warm day with the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded, respectively, at 29.7 degree Celsius, a notch above average, and 16.7 degrees — five notches above average.
The humidity levels oscillated between a high of 96 percent and a low of 44 percent.
