LUCKNOW - The temperature is likely to dip in Uttar Pradesh the next few days, with a cold wave making a comeback in the state, the weatherman said Tuesday.

The state experienced an unusually warm weather in recent days. Both the day and night temperatures were 4-5 degrees above normal.

But the wind pattern changed Monday.

“Because of that, cold winds have gripped the state. Moreover, western disturbances in the Himalayan region have led to rain and snowfall,” state Met director J.P. Gupta told reporters here.
