Bible summary on Twitter makes Brit Christian win huge following

MELBOURNE - A devout Christian in Britain has become a huge hit on Twitter, all thanks to his ambitious plan to summarise the whole Bible into daily tweets.
Chris Juby, a Christian evangelist from Durham, in northern England, plans to spend the next three and a half years on the project.
He will use one 140-character tweet to summarize a whole chapter in the bible and send out a tweet a day.
“Will I really be able to do justice to all 176 verses of Psalm 119 in 140 characters? Probably not,” News.com.au quoted the freelance web developer as saying.
“But the challenge of being so brief will force me to engage with the text and understand the key themes. And that’s partly the point in the first place,” he added.
His latest tweet sums up Genesis, chapter six: “Humankind corrupted the earth with evil. God decided to destroy them. He told Noah to build an ark to be saved from the flood.”
Juby hoped the project would be completed in November 2013. (ANI)
