Bright, sunny Tuesday morning in Delhi

NEW DELHI - The residents of Delhi woke up to a bright and sunny Tuesday morning. The weatherman said no rains are in store for the capital in the next few days.

“The skies will remain clear with the maximum temperature expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

Delhi Tuesday recorded a minimum of 21.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.

Humidity level was at a maximum of 64 percent and minimum of 48 percent.

The capital witnessed one of its wettest monsoons this year, resulting in heavy waterlogging and flood threats. The rainfall received so far crossed 1,031.5 mm, 62 percent above the seasonal average.
