Capital witnesses another warm day

NEW DELHI - The national capital witnessed another hot day Monday with the maximum temperature hovering at 34.3 degrees Celsius.

According to an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature settled at 20.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above average for this time of the season.

The maximum humidity was 86 percent while the minimum was 31 percent, the official said.

The weatherman said the sky will be mainly clear Tuesday with mist in the morning. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 34 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be around 20 degrees Celsius.
