NEW DELHI - A light fog enveloped the capital Tuesday morning, indicating that winters are close by. The weather office predicted the same pattern for the next few days.

“The sky will remain clear but a mist and shallow fog will be there early morning. In the late evening, there will be no fog but mist, keeping the evening chill,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The minimum temperature Tuesday hovered around 16 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season. The maximum is expected to hover around 29 degrees.

“The same weather pattern is in store for Delhiites in the days to come,” the IMD official added.
