NEW DELHI - It was a clear, warm day in the capital Sunday, but Delhiites can expect a wet start to their week Monday, the weather office said.

“There may be thundery developments in some parts of the city tomorrow. The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 29 and 17 degree Celsius respectively,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said Sunday.

Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 29.2 degrees Celsius, the average for this time of the season, while the minimum settled at 17.4 degrees, five degrees above average.

The humidity levels oscillated between a high of 94 percent and a low of 44 percent, the official added.
