Misty morning makes way for sunny Sunday

NEW DELHI - The national capital witnessed a clear and sunny Sunday after shallow fog in the morning. A chill could be felt both in the morning and the evening.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius, which was the average for this time of the year, while the minimum was 11.7 degrees, two notches above the average.

The humidity saw a high of 93 percent and a low of 28 percent.

Monday is also likely to be a sunny day with a clear sky, the weatherman said.

“The last few days were cloudy but no rains are expected for the next couple of days,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

“A slight drop in temperature at night is expected,” added the official.

Monday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius and 11 degree Celsius respectively.
