LONDON - Winona Ryder tested Johnny Depp’s patience on the set of ‘Edward Scissorhands’ when she complained about the heat, while the latter was stuck in his tight costume.

The two stars were dating in real life during the filming of the 1990 movie in Tampa, Florida.

Ryder has revealed their temperatures literally rose because Depp was sweating profusely in his heavy make-up and tight PVC outfit.

“I remember he had these horrible (hair) extensions and it was the dead of summer. I had this little air conditioning contraption and I tried to blow air up his costume because he was dying,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Total Film.

“I was in a little dress and complaining, and he was like, ‘Don’t even talk to me about being hot!’” she said.

However, the actress will always remember her time onset fondly.

“It was great, and my family were visiting me all the time. Yeah, I was very lucky. I remember just being really proud… first love, you know?” she said.

The couple got engaged before their split in the early 1990s. (ANI)
