Sunny day in Delhi after foggy morning

NEW DELHI - Delhi witnessed clear skies and bright sunshine Tuesday as a foggy morning gave way to a pleasant and bright afternoon. Clear skies are also expected Wednesday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures dipped a notch below average at 23.3 degrees Celsius and 7.7 degrees respectively, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum humidity was recorded on the higher side at 97 percent while the minimum was at 46 percent.

The IMD has predicted the maximum and minimum temperatures to hover around 22 and 8 degrees Celsius Wednesday.

“Cold winds will blow in the evening and early morning. The temperatures will continue to dip in the coming days,” the IMD official said.
