Warm, sunny day in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhi woke up to a chilly morning Wednesday, but the rest of the day was warm and sunny. Similar weather is expected Thursday, the weather office said.

According to an official of the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature Wednesday was 22.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the season, while the minimum settled at 7.7 degrees Celsius.

Humidity levels wavered between a high of 94 percent and a low of 41 percent.

“There will be light mist in the morning on Thursday but the afternoon will be warm as the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 23 and 7 degrees Celsius,” he said.
