Sunny day in Delhi, clear skies ahead

NEW DELHI - Delhiites witnessed a sunny and pleasant Tuesday, with the maximum temperature staying below average. Similar weather is in store for Wednesday, the weather office said.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, while the minimum was 10.4 degrees, the average for this time of the season.

The humidity levels wavered between a high of 79 percent and a low of 32 percent.

There was shallow fog in the morning and a nip in the air towards the evening as well.

According to an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Wednesday too will be a sunny day with clear skies.

“There is no forecast of rains for the next couple of days. The temperatures however, will continue to dip further,” he said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures Wednesday are expected to hover around 23 degrees and 9 degree Celsius respectively.
