Chilly morning in Delhi

NEW DELHI - A chilly and bright morning greeted Delhiites Wednesday with the national capital recording a minimum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the normal for this time of the season.

“There was fog in the morning but skies would remain clear during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

He said cold winds would blow in the evenings and early mornings and bring down the mercury further in the coming days.

Humidity was recorded at 95 percent.
