Light showers expected in Delhi

NEW DELHI - After a series of foggy and chilly days, Delhi saw relatively clear skies Wednesday with the minimum temperature three degrees above the normal. The weather office said light showers were expected during the day.

“The skies would be generally cloudy, and light showers are expected during the day, said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department.

The minimum temperature was 9.8 degrees Celsius.

“After the showers, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 17 and 11 degrees, the official said.

The maximum temperature recorded Tuesday was 15.2 degrees, seven notches below the average because of the rain. The total rainfall recorded was 0.9 mm.
