NEW DELHI - With bright sunshine and clear skies Monday, the week began on a pleasant note for Delhiites who soaked in the winter sun even as chilly winds blew throughout the day.

The weather will be similar over the next couple of days, the weatherman has predicted.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 20.1 degrees and 7.5 degrees Celsius, respectively,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

According to the Met office, Tuesday will witness light mist in the morning but the day would be clear with bright sunshine.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover between 21 and 7 degrees. It will be windy as the snowfall in higher Himalayas is continuing,” added the official.
