NEW DELHI - The chill in the air was back Tuesday morning after rains lashed Delhi a day ago. However, the minimum temperature at 14.6 degrees Celsius was above the average because of the cloudy skies.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the total rainfall recorded was 6.4 mm.

“More rains are likely today (Tuesday). But the temperatures are expected to be high because the skies are likely to remain cloudy,” an IMD official told IANS.

“The minimum temperature, recorded at 14.6 degrees, was four degrees above the average for this time of the year,” he added.

The maximum temperature is expected to touch 20 degrees.
