ABU DHABI - Environment friendly hybrid cars will be introduced in the vehicle fleet of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ministry of presidential affairs, WAM news agency reported Tuesday.

The protocol department of the ministry will take delivery of a number of such cars for use in transportation of VIPs and high profile state visitors.

The ministry’s move is in line with its policy to contribute in preserving the environment and natural resources, improve occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and apply modern technology to reduce noise by modes of transport.
