Jacobs Engineering gets 2 contracts
PASADENA, Calif. — Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., a construction and engineering firm, said Tuesday that it has been awarded two contracts for work on energy and rail projects.
Jacobs said it will provide engineering services for a project to build India’s strategic oil reserves. The contract, worth $65 million, was awarded by IOT Infrastructure & Energy Services Ltd. and will be for storage facilities in Visakhapatnam, India.
The second contract is a $12.5 million award for engineering services on the Central Mesa Light Rail Extension project in California. The project is a 3.1-mile extension of a light rail line in Mesa. Valley Metro Rail, Inc., awarded the contract.
Jacobs shares fell 25 cents to $34.57 in morning trading.
