NEW DELHI - A sunny yet nippy morning greeted Delhiites Wednesday. The met office has predicted clear skies in the day and a dip in evening temperature.

“The day will be bright and clear as there is no forecast of rain. The evening will witness a drop in temperature and will be chilly,” an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) told IANS.

A light cover of mist enveloped the city early morning. The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.7 degrees Celsius - a notch above the average for this time of the season.

The maximum temperature would be around 24 degrees, the official said.

Humidity levels would waver between a high of 90 and a low of 32 percent, the official added.
