NEW DELHI - It was a bright and warm day for Delhi Thursday with the minimum temperature being recorded at 6.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.

“The maximum temperature recorded was 21.2 degrees Celsius which is also normal for this time of the year,” an IMD official said.

“Winter seems to be easing as the temperature rises, giving the city warmer days,” the official added.

The humidity level oscillated between 29 and 80 percent.

The official further said that Friday will be similarly warm with a possibility of cloudy skies in the later part. But rainfall is not likely.

The minimum and maximum temperatures Friday are expected to hover around 8 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively.
