NASA: Space station repair now set for Saturday

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — NASA has delayed two spacewalks to fix a broken pump at the International Space Station.

Two astronauts are now scheduled to make the repairs on Saturday and Wednesday.

The pump failed last weekend and knocked out half of the space station’s cooling system, which keeps electronic equipment from overheating.

On Thursday, NASA said workers needed an extra day to finish up plans for the spacewalks.
