Bright, pleasant day in Delhi

NEW DELHI - It was a sunny Tuesday morning in the capital with the weather office promising a pleasant day ahead even though the minimum temperature was two notches below average.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius and the maximum is expected to hover around a relatively warmer 23 degrees, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

“There was mist in the morning. But skies will remain clear during the day,” the official told IANS.

Delhi Monday recorded a minimum of 7.4 degrees while the maximum settled at 22 degrees.
